You most certainly can complete the paperwork yourself.
It’s not advisable to do the paperwork yourself.
Hiring an attorney in Ukraine who knows how to navigate the paperwork is the best solution.
Please take my advice on this, or don’t, it’s your choice.
I’ve helped obtain work permits, tax IDs, bank accounts, visas, including many Visa D, Private Entrepreneur (PE) registration, and Limited Liability (LLC) registration.
Pro Tip: It’s better to renew your residence permit after ten months to ensure you stay within the laws and times frames set forth by the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
